Avatar Gets “Work-at-Home” Job
Company’s AI-assisted HR avatar interviewed my AI-assisted avatar
Sharing my near-future “gigs-for-money” job search experience:
I interviewed three weeks ago with an HR rep at a company I really want to work for. Job description specified “work-at-home in customer success role”. Actually, I interviewed with their AI-assisted HR avatar.
Actually, their AI-assisted avatar interviewed my AI-assisted avatar.
My avatar said the interview went great! Actually, it always lies, but I didn’t have to verify it this time because I got the job!
Actually, my avatar got the job, but you know what I mean.
I let my avatar use my ID numbers and address to on-board with the company.
Then the light-bulb went on over my head.
My real head, but a figurative light-bulb. English leaves a lot to be desired.
Anyway, I got an idea. People work more than one job to support themselves, so why not avatars? Or more than one avatar? Whatever, you get the idea: one person, many avatars.
So I interviewed with 20 more companies that I’d like to work for. Actually, that I’d like my avatars to work for.
Prompt: Find 20 “work-at-home in customer success role” job openings at reputable companies. If found, use my email account and calendar to schedule interview date/time. At the scheduled time, present my avatar for the interview and after the interview send me an email about how it went. If no openings found, say “No job openings found”.
Constraint: Job opening must specify “AI-assisted HR interviews”.
While I waited for the emails, I vibe-coded two “Supervisor Agents”:
One to manage my working avatars, and
The other to manage my interviewing avatars.
I thought maybe my “Supervisor Agents” should talk to each other at least twice a day to make sure my avatars don’t interview for a job someplace where I already work. But then I figured, “What the hey! Why not have more than one of me working at the same place”!?
Status Update:
Now I have 11 avatars working at 8 different companies.
Checks are direct deposited to my account.
Every once in a while I check-in with my “Supervisor Agents” to see how things are going.
Going on my third river cruise next week.
