Two strategic minds, one dinner table conversation- a posthumous counterfactual but historical look at AI.

Join them for dinner as they spar elegantly about a new technology, artificial intelligence. Over food and wine, they wonder

  • Could artificial intelligence have saved us if we had it at our disposal?

  • Would we have done anything differently in our pursuit of power?

  • How far would we have gone?

Anne Boleyn, Queen of England 1533 to 1536.

  • Court-trained in France.

  • Skilled in rhetoric, religious discourse, and political framing.

  • Known for sharp wit and cultivated poise.

  • Lost power through legal and political machinery she could not fully see.

Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt 51-30 BC.

  • Highly educated.

  • Spoke multiple languages.

  • Conducted diplomacy with Roman power brokers.

  • Understood spectacle and symbolism deeply.

  • Lost sovereignty in a war shaped by logistics, propaganda, and Roman consolidation.

As our scene opens…

A hush moves through the room as a herald steps forward, staff lightly striking the floor.

Herald:

“May I present Her Grace, Anne Boleyn, Queen of England, reigned 1533 to 1536, wife of King Henry the Eighth.

Patron of reformist learning, fluent in the politics of courts and conscience.”

(A ripple of bows. The herald pauses, then turns again.)

Herald:

“And from Alexandria, Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, reigned 51 to 30 before Christ, wife of Mark Antony under Egyptian custom.

Sovereign ruler, strategist, and guardian of an ancient state amid imperial ambition.”

(The doors close. Music fades. The dinner conversation begins.)
